Passing one or two farm buildings the lane's fall steepens and it becomes
more narrow, before going through a gateway signed Vale Court Farm. At
the foot of the hill the lane curves sharply left. This is where you leave it
to go ahead through a wooded corner, then through a kissing gate into a
