Semantic integration is a considerable lever effect to
transform semantic modeling as a return on investment. On
the condition of using a “semantic integration” software
solution 3 capable of working with a rich data model, the
rationalization of data exchanges and the optimization of
ESB management are improved. At the same time that the
MDM approach, the company benefits, with no added
modeling cost, from an improved management of exchanges
between systems (Figure 12.5).
