MDM Maturity Levels and
Model-driven MDM
Three levels are used to evaluate the maturity of an MDM
system: virtual, static and semantic.
The lowest level uses only virtual MDM; the highest level

It is important to have a clear understanding of the
differences between these three levels so as not to create
false expectations from users, as only semantic MDM
interests business users. We will also see that a more
detailed technical analysis of MDM leads to the concept of
Model-driven MDM.
