Removing the existing machine
At this step, we are going to remove or disable the current primary node from the replica
set and let the cluster choose the new member. After removing the primary node, the rep-
lica set selects another primary node and changes the nodes' relationship.
The following screenshot shows the status of the old primary node after it is disabled:
As you can see, the status of this node is 8 , which means it's not reachable.
Furthermore, the following screenshot illustrates the status of the new member that became
a primary node after election:
