team due to the cloud apps. Staring a new startup
company involves using strategically, with little
capital, a variety of customer acquisition chan-
nels, public relations, inbound marketing, search
engine marketing, in-person events, platform
distribution, direct sales, affiliate programs, and
information that currently exists. A new class of
investors creates software, uses new technologies,
platforms, and even new tools for startups that
become available, and makes a living.
CONCLUSION
This chapter contains discussion of technologies
involving augmented and virtual reality that are
becoming crucial for technological development
for both corporations and universities. Augmented,
virtual reality, and Second Life play an increasing
role in lives of participants. The desktop-type 3D
virtual environment, where the real world is not
blocked out from the user who can see through a
window and communicate by mouse and keyboard,
is especially promising for learning and educa-
tion. Examples of the virtual reality immersive
simulations are related to the immersive virtual
reality environments used for pilot training pro-
grams, digital museums, galleries, conferences,
and festivals.
