How much space do my chickens need?
Chickens in a tractor need about 4 square feet per bird. The size of a pasture determines
how much nutrition your flock will find on their own. The bare minimum to keep the ground
mud-free seems to be about 40 square feet per bird, but 300 square feet per bird is better.
Plan for even more space if you want to cut your feed bills further.
