In-Depth Information
to date demonstrate proof of concept and underline the high potential of
VNPs and VLPs as novel candidate materials for medical devices. The next
hurdle will be to gain a better understanding of the physiological fate and
potential long-term side effects of VNPs. It is anticipated that further
development of VNPs for applications in medicine will be an exciting field
to follow.
