numbers, see Fig. 1.7 ). It is possible to pan across the image by dragging the red
box located within the navigation view, which then updates the other windows.
The histogram presents the distribution of pixel values located within the subset of
the image displayed. If multiple images (in the same projection) are opened using
otbViewer , it is possible to geographically link the viewers so that panning in one
image updates the zoom extent of the other window.
The Orfeo Toolbox also provides a GUI based application called monteverdi ,
which provides an integrated GUI to display raster images as well as giving access to
GUI based versions of the OTB tools. The latest version, monteverdi 2, is presented
in Fig. 1.8 .
