Using the geostats command
Another useful tool for analyzing data geographically is the geostats command. This com-
mand allows us to easily take the lat and lon fields created by the iplocation command (and
based on the clientip), and uses these to cluster the counts geographically and map them.
The code is simple:
buttercupgames | iplocation clientip | geostats count
And our results help us to quickly visualize the locations from which our data is coming:
