Summary
In this chapter, we have used the app for Twitter data to learn about how to input live data
streams. We have explored in detail the built-in dashboards that come with this app, and
have learned about the commands behind each panel and how they work in Splunk. We
have also learned more about doing more detailed searches in Splunk. And we have addi-
tionally learned about how to use a lookup table to aid our searches.
In the next chapter, we will go on to learn the useful skill of using Splunk to create alerts.
