In-Depth Information
El Pobre Diablo
Corner of Isabel la Católica and Galavis
www.elpobrediablo.com
El Pobre Diablo is the perfect spot to hear great live music, with a classy but down-to-
earth atmosphere. Bands are local or visiting but more than often are fusions of interna-
tional musicians. The inspired Ecuadorian menu changes each week, and the cocktails are
excellent.
La Estación
Joaquín Pinto and Diego de Almagro
http://laestacionquito.com
La Estación is a two-floor rock and indie bar around the corner from Plaza Foch. The
place is big and half-empty most of the time, except for when live music is hosted and
crowd comes alive. Nevertheless, there are always chain-smoking bohemians on their ter-
race as well as continual art exhibitions on the colorful walls.
Dirty Sanchez

Dirty Sanchez on Facebook
Right next door to La Estación is Dirty Sanchez, a tiny indie bar big with a hip following;
it's the kind of place to go to for some cocktails and meeting new people. There's not
much space to dance, but that doesn't deter anyone when local bands amp up the space.
The affable owner is always hanging around and making sure everyone feels welcomed,
and they usually do.
Food & Restaurants
Quito's food scene is all over the place, from sprawling street food markets to elegant fine
dining establishments and all the mom and pop joints in between. Fast food is all over
