Though Hostal Kanoas isn't the cheapest place in town, if you're looking for a working
toilet, clean room and something in the way of ventilation, spend the few extra dollars and
head straight for Kanoas. Quarters may be a little cramped but are clean, new, bright and
have private bathrooms. About a 10-minute walk from the terminal.

El Jardín is a beautiful lodge crafted with natural materials that blend into the surrounding
vegetation, but the facilities are still modern and up to par. Rooms come in all group sizes
and have en-suite bathrooms with hot water showers. The outdoor Jacuzzi is clean and
private, since reservations are required.

Kapawi Eco-Lodge

This award-winning eco-lodge is owned and operated by the remote Amazonian commu-
nity of Achuar people. Entirely built on stilts with private cabins connected by one long
boardwalk over a lagoon. With no artificial lighting at night, the sounds of the rainforest
surround guests and immerse them in the complete Amazonian experience. What's special
about Kapawi is the service standard and level of elegant finesse that shine in the accom-
modations. Certified Achuar guides with translators are on-hand to accompany visitors on
jungle excursions.
