Hotel Auca has three eateries, Dayuma Restaurant, Kokafe Ice Cream and & Coffee Shop
and Las Bromelias Bar-Restaurant. Dayuma serves healthy national and international
plates in a clean, natural setting, but lunch and dinner at Bromelias requires reservations
(the bar is only open 3 nights a week). Kids will love Kokafe.

Despite its somewhat dark history of catering exclusively to oil executives in the '70s and
despite its somewhat offensive name (Auca means 'savage' in Kichwa, referring to the
nearby tribes) this hotel is presently a beautiful high-end lodge that's perfect for business
travelers, families, or more discerning visitors in Coca. With its services and amenities the
hotel is Coca's best accommodation option overall.
