DPNR. The increases in storage modulus (G′) for the DPNR-
graft
-PS-1.5 and the
DPNR-
graft
-PS-4.5, which were about 10 and 100 times as high as that of natural
rubber, were attributed to the formation of nanomatrix structure. After sulfonation of
the DPNR-
graft
-PS-5.5, the values of the proton conductivity and water uptake was
9.5 × 10
-2
and 24.3 wt%, which were higher than those of the sulfonated PS itself and
corresponded to the commercial proton conductive polymer electrolyte.
