GRAND MORAVIA €€
( 519 340 130; www.grandmoravia.cz ; ul 21. dubna 657, Lednice ; mains 130-240Kč;
) This restaurant, part of a hotel complex, is arguably Lednice's best (out of an admit-
tedly meagre bunch). You'll find nicely done local specialties, including a couple of
fish entrees like trout and pikeperch. Many of the menu items are given a special
twist, like baked lamb with a hint of rosemary, served with leaf spinach. Call ahead to
book a table on weekends.

new-age spot just off the main square in Valtice.
