In-Depth Information
Fučík have combined to bring award-winning cooking to Brno. Koishi has earned a

CZZECCH
SPOLEK €
10am-10pm Sun; )
You'll get friendly, unpretentious service at this coolly 'bohemi-
an' (yes, we're in Moravia) haven with interesting salads and soups, and a concise but
diverse wine list. Photojournalism on the walls is complemented by a funky mezzan-
ine bookshop. It has excellent coffee, too.
ASIAN
SIAN
SABAIDY €
Mon-Fri; )
With decor incorporating Buddhist statues and a talented Laotian chef de-
livering authentic flavours, Sabaidy delivers both 'om' and 'mmmm'. After lots of
same-ish Czech food, this really is different. The easiest access is via the Hotel Am-
phone at trída kpt Jaroše 29.

ŠPALIČEK €€
( 542 215 526; Zelný trh 12; mains 160-310Kč)
Brno's oldest (and maybe its 'meatiest')
restaurant sits on the edge of the Cabbage Market. Ignore the irony and dig into huge
Moravian meals, partnered with a local Starobrno beer or something from the decent
local wine list.
VVEGGETARIAN
ARIAN
REBIO €
Sat; )
Healthy risottos and veggie pies stand out in this self-service spot that
changes its tasty menu every day. Organic beer and wine is available. There's another
all-veggie branch on the 1st floor of the Velký Spaliček shopping centre.
