Reservations
Booking your accommodation in advance is strongly recommended (especially
if you want to stay in or near the centre), and there are dozens of agencies that
will help you find a place to stay. The more reliable agencies should be able to
find you a bed even if you turn up in peak periods without a booking.
Smoking
The ban on smoking in public places that came into effect in the Czech Repub-
lic in 2010 does not apply to hotels - each establishment comes up with its
own rules. In our listings we have used the no-smoking icon for places that
are entirely non-smoking (though they may have an outdoor 'designated
smoking area').
