abroad through his sprawling Meet Factory artist-in-residency project in
Smíchov.
EATING
Of the two districts, Smíchov and Vyšehrad, the former clearly has much more
variety. The area around Anděl metro station, in particular, has exploded with
restaurants in recent years. Many of these are chains, but there are several
good, traditional pubs to choose from too. Offerings are more limited in
Vyšehrad.

Artisan is tricky to find but worth the effort for the best meal to be had in the
Smíchov area, bar none. The menu has a weekly range of fish, chicken and beef en-
trées, and the pasta is homemade. Check the website for weekly tapas and wine-tast-
ing evenings. There's a small garden that's open in warm weather.
