Not for the
mild mannered, this old man's pub serves excellent, hard-to-find Klášter beer. The
main drinking room gets pretty smoky and crowded with crusty regulars and, indeed,
a whole day can go by without a single female visitor, but you can't argue with the
beer. A perfectly preserved Prague pub undisturbed by modern life.

A retro 1920s-style coffee house, Kabinet is situated in a cool cubist
building in a pleasantly residential part of Dejvice. Old cameras, posters and photo-
graphs emphasise the throwback feel. The name of the cafe, for Czechs, recalls early
school days - a 'kabinet' being a teacher's office - to add to the nostalgic feel.
