There's a vast selection of secondhand CDs, LPs and videos to
browse through here, representing a wide range of genres. Czech and Western pop
jostle with jazz, blues, heavy metal, country and world music, though with most LPs
costing around 300Kč to 450Kč this place is not exactly what you'd call a bargain
basement.

Supposedly the biggest music megastore
in the Czech Republic, with pretty much everything including Western chart music,
classical, jazz, dance and heavy metal, as well as an extensive collection of Czech
pop. It also sells Blu-ray discs and DVDs, iPods and accessories, and has a large
PlayStation arena and internet cafe.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff members at this long-standing
shop are happy to show you around their impressive stock of secondhand cameras,
darkroom gear, lenses, binoculars and tele-scopes. Models range from the basic but
unbreakable Russian-made Zenit to expensive Leicas.

Established by Tomáš Baťa in 1894, the Baťa footwear em-
pire is still in family hands and is one of the Czech Republic's most successful com-
panies. The flagship store on Wenceslas Square, built in the 1920s, is considered a
masterpiece of modern architecture, and houses six floors of shoes (including inter-
national brands as well as Baťa's own), handbags, luggage and leather goods.
