Veletržní Palác ( CLICK HERE )
10 In 1996 the huge, grimly functionalist Veletržní Palác, built in 1928 to house
international trade fairs, became the new home of the National Gallery's mu-
seum of 20th- and 21st-century art. This vast, ocean-liner-like building can now lay
claim to being one of Prague's best (and biggest) galleries, including works by Van
Gogh, Picasso, Klimt, Mucha and the Impressionists, as well as masterpieces by
Czech expressionist, cubist and surrealist artists.
