Although the name seems aimed at the tourist market, this lively and always heav-
ing pub is very popular with Praguers. There are no fewer than 31 beers on tap (plus
an extensive beer menu with tasting notes to guide you). Try a sample board - a
wooden platter with five 0.15L glasses containing five beers of your choice.

This cool cafe - the name translates as something like 'beauti-
ful destruction' - doubles as an art gallery and occasional music venue, and is hugely
popular with students from nearby Charles University. There are Czech newspapers
and books to leaf through, chilled tunes on the sound system, and a menu of gourmet
teas and coffees to choose from.

place. Cramped and smoky - there are Cuban cigars for sale - with battered leather
