(brickworks), this place enjoys one of Prague's hottest locations, with a riverside ter-
race offering sweeping views of Charles Bridge and the Old Town waterfront. The
menu is as sweeping as the view, ranging from seafood and upmarket burgers to Asi-
an dishes such as stir-fried beef and lamb curry. There's also a decent kids' menu and
play area.

11am-11pm; ; 12, 20, 22) Easily missed, this backstreet Asian restaurant is set in
a maze of gaudily decorated Gothic vaults only a few yards from Malá Strana's main
square. The Japanese half of the menu is nothing special, but the Thai dishes - includ-
ing red and green curries, spicy beef salad, and pad thai noodles - are authentically
hot, and fragrant with lemongrass and coriander.

chilled-out, Far Eastern atmosphere. The decor is based around lotus blossoms, lan-
terns and soft lighting, and the menu follows the Asian theme with competent Thai
dishes such as chicken in red curry, and pad thai noodles, which - unusually for a
Prague restaurant - actually have a hefty chilli kick.

DRINKING & NIGHTLIFE
Malá Strana is the place to go for pavement table people-watching, with lots of
cafes and bars spilling out onto the streets - especially on Malostranské
náměstí and on Nerudova, which leads up to the castle. Places here range from
cute teahouses and cafes to traditional cellar-pubs and funky bars.
