16.6.2 Prediction of 3D Structures of RNA Molecules
RNA molecules play an important role in many biological processes. The understand-
ing of the functions of these molecules depends on the study of their 3D structure.
A common approach is to use knowledge-based potential built from inter-atomic dis-
tance coming from experimentally determining structures. Recent works use mixture
models [ 2 ] to model the distribution of the inter-atomic distances.
