Tourist information

placed to answer your questions.
ACCOMMODATION
Copacabana has an enormous number of places to stay. Most are simple

and

catering for
pilgrims
, but recent years have seen a surge in smarter mid-range
and top end hotels aimed at tourists. Rooms fill up fast, and prices double or triple during the
main
fiestas
. All include breakfast unless stated otherwise.

On the edge of Plaza Sucre, this late 1990s landmark is ageing fairly well.
The rooms are clean and bright, although views from the huge windows are blocked by a
red-brick mons

and noise can be an issue. There's a lovely patio, internet café and tour
agency on site.

Budget option with an enduring popularity

suggests it closed down years ago. Inside you'll find clean, simple rooms (with or without
bathrooms) around a bare courtyard; those at the ba
