Positano:

other towns along the coast since it's conveniently located in the middle of everything. This
picturesque town is known for its splendid coastal views. It's perched on the face of a hill
and winds its way down to the water. This is one of the more popular tourist destinations,
so if you plan to visit in the summer, it's most likely going to be crowded. Once you're in
Positano, check out its most famous attraction: Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta. This old
church has a strikingly majestic dome and is the home of the famous Byzantine icon of the
13 th century, Madonna di Postiano. If you want to head to the beach, Fornillo is the smaller,
more secluded one, while Spiaggia Grande is the main beach and will be busier during tour-
ist season.
