Italy have to offer. But those looking to get off the beaten path in terms of travel, should def-
initely consider a trip to Southern Italy as well. Southern Italy has a lot to offer and it tends
to be a lot less busy than its Central and Northern counterparts. The regions that make up
Southern Italy are actually quite a lot smaller in comparison to the north and central regions.
In fact, it makes up less than half of the total land mass of Italy. Not only is it less populated,
but there a fewer tourists here as well. And if you're looking to mingle with more Italians

are mainly Italians anyway.
One of the main reasons travelers should consider a trip to Southern Italy is the cost; it's a
lot cheaper than a trip to the north where it tends to be heavy with tourists. This means good
news for those traveling on a strict budget. It's important to note, however, that Southern
Italy is definitely a much different place than the typical Italy popular and known to tourists
and foreigners alike. But where it has it quirks and sometimes more backward way of life,
it also has its charm and welcoming atmosphere, and it's definitely going to be a trip you'll
never forget!
