Also located in the Boboli Garden is the Kaffeehaus, which is a graceful pavilion built in
Rococo style in 1775. There's also a coffee house inside for refreshments.
Travel Tip: It's best to get a combination ticket upon entrance
to the Pitti Palace. That way you'll be able to enjoy both the palace
and Boboli Gardens and won't have to purchase separate entrance
tickets.
Santa Maria Novella:
Travelers looking to experience the many churches Florence has to offer should head for
the Santa Maria Novella to take a look at its numerous beautiful frescoes and sculptures.
It's situated on the western edge of the old town part of Florence and has a majestic
Florentine-Gothic style of architecture. The exterior, bell tower, and interior boast magnifi-
cent design and color. Inside the church, you'll find that the church has a Latin cross floor
plan and a large crucifix suspended from the ceiling. There are also a number of tombs
placed against the walls of the church, housing some of Florence's influential and reli-
gious figures. Don't forget to check out the lovely frescoes located throughout Santa Maria
Novella as well as the different rooms that also have equally beautiful frescos, marble
carvings, and antique furniture.

Basilica di San Lorenzo, Ponte Vecchio, Loggia dei Lanzi, and
