Riomaggiore:
The most eastern village in The Cinque Terra is Riomaggiore, named after the stream that
crosses through it. This small, picturesque village has the typical small town main street as
well a castle, harbor, rocky coastline, and several restaurants. Travelers can see views of the
upper side of the San Giovanni Battista as well as the Sanctuary of “Madonna di Montenero
situated above the village.
