Civil Engineering Reference
In-Depth Information
• Design-construction execution procedures such as quality management, safety
management, submittal reviews, schedule management, progress reviews, invoic-
ing and payments, planning for operating plant interfaces, dispute resolution,
project completion, and acceptance.
When these processes and procedures are consistent with the project objectives,
those project objectives are more likely to be achieved. In addition, if these processes
and procedures are conducted in partnership and collaboration, the most likely result is a
more efficient project with few surprises or disputes.
Last, but certainly not least, trust and partnership drive successful DB projects.
