The project experienced excellent cost performance, which was a result of fin-
ishing ahead of schedule as well as excellent field production, efficient scheduling
and sequencing, development of competitive bid packages, and achieving critical
milestones. During execution of the work, the District requested various enhance-
ments to the project. A total of four change orders were executed with two of the
change orders being deductive. The Fairplay Sanitation District finished the project
at essentially the original guaranteed maximum price of $5,051,030 despite having
enhanced the project with what equates to $232,400 of additional work.
