CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
As.an.investigator.or.in.my.capacity.as.support.to.a.digital.
or.telephone.data.investigation,.I.understand.that.I.may.have.
access.to.sensitive.or.conidential.information..By.signing.this.
statement,.I.afirm.my.understanding.of.my.responsibilities.to.
maintain.strict.conidentiality.and.agree.to.the.following:
. 1..I.understand.that.I.may.access,.read,.or.handle.sensi-
tive.or.conidential.information.or.records.relating.to.
the.[Organization],.its.employees,.or.constituents.to.the.
extent.required.in,.and.for.the.purpose.of,.performing.
my.assigned.duties.as.an.investigator.or.support.per-
son.for.a.digital.or.telephone.data.investigation.
. 2..I. agree. to. limit. my. investigation. to. the. speciically.
requested.information.in.the.investigation.request.and.
to.report.to.the.administrator.of.the.investigation.pro-
cess.any.pertinent.information.found.in.the.course.of.
those.investigations.
. 3..I. agree. not. to. divulge,. publish,. or. otherwise. make.
known.to.unauthorized.persons.or.to.the.public.any.
information.obtained.in.the.course.of.an.investigation.
. 4..I.understand.that:
. a.. I. may. divulge. information. to. the. administrator.
of. the. investigation,. the. requesting. departmental.
Authorizing.Authorities,.and.Human.Resources.staff.
. b.. I.may.divulge.information.to.others.only.if.speciically.
authorized.to.do.so.by.statute,.law,.or.court.order.
. c.. Maintaining.conidentiality.includes.not.discussing.
investigation.information.outside.of.the.workplace.
or.my.usual.work.area.
. d.. After.I.leave.employment.with.the.[Organization],.I.
may.not.divulge.investigation.information.obtained.
during.my.employment.
. 5..I.agree.to.consult.with.the.administrator.of.the.investi-
gation.process.on.any.questions.I.may.have.concern-
ing.whether.particular.information.may.be.disclosed.
