View manipulation with the keyboard:

Front view: Numpad-1

Side view: Numpad-3

Top view: Numpad-7

Orthographic/Perspective view toggle: Numpad-5

Solid/Wireframe view toggle: Z key

Textured view: Alt-Z

Select all/deselect all: A key
●
Border select: B key, then LMB drag

Border deselect: B key, then MMB drag

Delete selected object: X key (or the Delete key)

Accept a procedure/result: LMB

Reject/cancel an operation: RMB

What We Missed
If we had unlimited time and space in this topic, we'd cover every single aspect of Blender from these
basics up through the most advanced material and out the other side to stuff that is of dubious value at
best. But we don't, so we can't. From here on out, we'll give a mention at the end of each of chapter
of what we skipped, but what you should look up on your own as you take some steps on your stubby
little 3D toddler legs.
