F-curve not to affect the object. Toggling the lock will prevent you from messing with it. Toggle the
lock only. You'll see that the curve itself is now presented with a dash pattern. It also becomes
nonselectable.
There is a simple command for adding points in Blender. Those points might be on an F-curve, a Bezier
object, or a vertex in a mesh. Whatever the situation, the command is the same: Ctrl-LMB . Our goal is
to reshape the Z Rotation curve from Figure 3.20 to look like the one in Figure 3.22 . To do that, we
will need to add a couple of points.
The original curve has three points on it, one for each time a rotation key was set. Before you try to add
a point, make sure we're working on the correct curve by LMB clicking on the name “Z Euler Rotation”
on the panel on the left. Then, using Ctrl-LMB , click about midway between the first two points on the
highlighted curve.
