from the data in Fig. 7.9 . The root mean square error of recording the soil break-up
via the tine sensor instead of the standard sieving method is 6.3 mm of the mean
weight diameter. Taking into account the reactions of the crops on the mean weight
diameter (Fig. 7.6 ), this error seems acceptable.
