Photoshop is great for tidying up any blotches or stubborn pencil strokes and ensuring the
outlined shapes don't have any breaks in them. This is important when using the Paint Bucket
Tool. Using this tool, you can instantly fill a selected area, or an area bound within another color.
With any gaps filled in, the Paint Bucket Tool will fill the inside area of scanned line drawings,
turning them into the solid, flat black shapes required (see Figure 10-13).

The question of detailing and how to add things like facial features must now be addressed. It is
important that Flynn's features are not overly expressive, which will set him apart from anyone or
