the long term performance of the space.
The quantity of instrumentation will be very
significant and will require a remote “real-time”
recording system and a long time monitoring. The
pres-support and excavation of the cavern roof
will be critical and the instrumentation will focus
on the monitoring of the support and the move-
ment of the rock mass above the rock arches and
between the rock arches and cavern roof.
