The only survivor in the family was Anne's father who through his efforts had her diary
published.

The diary now sits at the Anne Frank House, it is hard to fathom how eight people lived in
the two tiny rooms of the building for two years. A visit to the Anne Frank House is like
stepping into the pages of history.
