between BBS and ML, AP, TD (p
0,05), indicating that high values of BBS are
associated with low values of ML, AP and TD. The ML displacement has strongly
positive correlation with the AP displacement (rs

0.835), EA (rs

0,763) and also
a positive moderate intensity with TD (rs

0,555).

Support Phase of Gait
Results for plantar pressure assessments in support phase of gait (1-step protocol)
are listed in Table 4 . In 1-step protocol, ML, TD and CT values for both feet are
higher compared to control group. In both groups (MS and healthy) the ML COP
displacement for left foot is inferior than registered in right foot.
We also observed in MS group that the AP COP displacement is lower than
they were assessed in the control group. This is because some subjects did not
perform the initial contact with the heel but with metatarsal region. This difference
in first contact area decreased the AP COP displacement, contrary to what would
be expected. In total displacement we assisted to opposite behavior to that seen
in ML parameter. For both groups (MS and healthy) the TD value is superior
