in both Dornod and Sükhbaatar aimags. Arranges permits and sells tickets to protected
areas and nature reserves. If you stop by to enquire about visiting protected areas, they
will make you pay the T5000 protected area fee, just in case.

Ulaanbaatar on Thursday and Sunday (one way/return US$76/152). The office is near the
Trade & Development Bank. The airport is about 10km east of the centre; around
T14,000 by taxi.

at the eastern end of town. From the same station it's also possible to get a seat in a
minivan for T36,000 to Ulaanbaatar or T16,000 to Chinggis Khot, which doesn't have a
specific departure time but generally leaves when full.
Private minivans and jeeps run between Ulaanbaatar and Choibalsan daily (T36,000),
departing from Ulaanbaatar's Naran Tuul jeep station (

. Minivans from
Choibalsan market depart when full. Private vans and jeeps (also from the market) go to
Chinggis Khot (T15,000, 324km), Baruun-Urt (T20,000, 191km) and, less frequently,
nearby
sums
such as Bayandun (T20,000).
Local drivers charge around T80,000 per day plus petrol. A postal minivan to Khalkhi-
in Gol (T17,000, 10 hours) leaves on Wednesday at 8am.
