Eating
There are several basic shops in Khatgal (mostly clustered near the Telecom office). If
possible, stock up in Mörön or Ulaanbaatar. The following places are all in Khatgal.
MS Guesthouse MONGOLIAN$
(meals around T5000; ) MS is a nice place to eat and will occasionally prepare khorkhog
(a mutton dish cooked using hot stones) and authentic Mongolian barbecue for guests
and visitors.
Rose Cafe MONGOLIAN$
(meals T5000) Centrally located joint popular with locals for its heaped portions of Mon-
golian classics.
Garage 24 WESTERN$$$
