of a three-in-one hotel building, Selenge doesn't have terribly memorable decor, but the
rooms are spacious and clean (if a little musty) and you're more likely to find a room
here even when the other two wings are completely booked up.

reasonably central Tamir, just south of the stadium, is all mid-sized beige rooms, inter-

wing of this monolithic Soviet-style hotel, that now combines three hotels in one, is the
nicest place to lay your head in Erdenet. Expect crisp white bed linen, modern bathrooms
with heated towel racks and reliable wi-fi throughout. There is a good cafe right by the
entrance, too.

Swedish-American bakery not only does a daily selection of vegetable soups (pumpkin,
broccoli), but also meatless pizzas, great baked goodies and an extensive loose-leaf tea
selection. The daily soup, sandwich and drink special is a steal at T5000.
