Kharaa Hotel

A good-
value option, Kharaa was recently renovated and has bright rooms with clean bathrooms,
wi-fi and a restaurant. Almost all rooms have their own hot showers.
Zalaa Hotel
HOTEL$
( 9904 2832; tw & tr per bed T12,000, lux tw/tr T30,000/45,000)
A clumsy building with
wobbly halls and a mishmash of furniture. Rooms are basic but clean. It's well worth
paying slightly more for the 'lux' rooms as the standard ones have no showers and
there's no shower in the common bathrooms. The restaurant isn't always open and the
wi-fi wasn't working when we stayed, but the showers were hot.

If you want to swank it up, look no further than this new six-storey hotel.
Rooms are enormous, in immaculate condition and are well equipped without being lux-
urious. There's internet access through a cable, although no wi-fi, and en-suite bathrooms
are modern.
Eating
There are
guanz
(canteens) around town, several of them in the container market.

T2000) and warming mugs of
suutei tsai
(salty milk tea; T200). No English sign or
