PEDESTRIAN MALL
(Long White; Juuchin Gudamj)
This pedestrianised shopping mall is a leftover from the com-
munist era and badly in need of renovation but it's still worth wandering down here. In
summer, a yellow outdoor tent serves fresh
airag
. In the building itself there are small
shops for cobblers, silversmiths, barbers, tailors, eye-glass repair shops and more. In the
easternmost door is a seamstress who sells low-price
dels.
In the middle of the mall is a
sign indicating the North Korean restaurant Pyongyang (

), which serves fairly
mediocre meals.
