up to Naadam, you should be able to catch some informal, but still competitive, wrestling
and archery at the Naadam Stadium.

side of Naadam, check out the schedule at the Wrestling Palace, which is the ger-shaped
building south of the Chinggis Khaan Hotel.
Central Sports Palace

Wrestling, basketball and boxing are held at the Central Sports Palace dur-
ing the year. A more modern sports complex has opened near the airport.

Mongolian models
strut their stuff on the catwalk at the Torgo Fashion Salon nightly at 6pm from 1 June to
25 September. The designs, by local designers, usually blend traditional Mongolian out-
fits into contemporary fashions. You can buy products here or just kick back, watch the
show and listen to the accompanying music.

Has a small library of books on Mongolia. Hosts occasional lectures by Western
