The bar sitting atop this excellent
Spanish restaurant
was Beijing's “it” place
at the time of writing: views from here are simply superb, and there's barely room to wiggle
your butt during the weekend DJ sets. Weekdays are a different story, with lounge music
pulsing over a nattering crowd, all sat on funky furniture.

Eighty floors up, this is Beijing's lofti-
est bar - for now, at least - and sells costly cocktails (from
¥
90). Though the building is
brand-new, the bar's decoration seems a little dated; no matter, just persuade your date/col-
league to look outside instead. Book ahead to get a window seat; use the lifts facing the build-
ing's east entrance.
Daily noon-2am.
