www.dintaifung.com.tw ; Dawanglu subway (line 1); map . Slick, upscale Taiwanese restaur-
ant still riding a wave of popularity generated from a decades-old magazine review in which
it was ranked among the world's top ten restaurants. Hyperbole aside, its famous dumplings

delectable red bean paste buns for dessert. Daily 11.30am-10pm.

as borscht ( 25), beetroot and walnut salad ( 25) and shashlik ( 50). The outdoor area is
great for evening drinks, though the interior is surprisingly attractive. Daily 9am-1am.

soup or grilled lamb. Service is attentive. Around 250 per person. Daily 6.30am-10.30am,
noon-2pm & 6-10pm.

10); map . A friendly Thai venue serving fairly authentic food for 30-60 per dish; the tom
yum and green curries are particularly recommended. Their outdoor seats are the best place
from which to gaze over Central Park, a cosmopolitan area that's one of Beijing's most im-
pressive examples of urban rebuilding. Daily 11am-10pm.
