Monsoon bigger than glaciers for the basins' hydrology
Recent studies noted that meltwater from the Himalayan glaciers to the
basins' hydrology vary temporally and spatially, and may not be substantial
to all the Himalayan basins compared to water contributed by the Asian
monsoon (Table 10.1) (Fig. 10.6). For example:
