of these.
Access to health care and other services is very im-
portant for the survival potential of children. Hospitals
may be nonexistent and doctors may be few . In India for
example, there are a mere 60 physicians for every
100,000 people; in the United States there are 256. Clin-
ics, particularly in remote areas, are likely to be poorly
