Cities and inland waterways in China proper . Here you can see that China' s major cities
stretch from the northeastern rust belt to the North China Plain, and along the coast to Guang-
dong Province. Other major cities are situated on or near China' s major rivers—the Huang He
and the Y angzi. Note that the Y angzi is the major navigable river . Y ou can also see the location
of the famous Three Gorges Dam.
